As a long-time AIF archive lurker, it's come to my attention that many newcomers don't really know what the fuck to do with the AIF archive's decades-long library, so upon request, I'm putting up here the recommendations I'd also posted in the discord. Some are newer, some are older, hopefully you'll run into something that you'll like and either forgot about or haven't played yet.
Usual warnings about the content I'll be linking to: adult games means adults only. Check the laws under whose jurisdictions you fall for more information as to whether you are permitted to consume pornographic material of this sort or others. I ain't your lawyer or your priest, and odds are very bad that I'm your papa or your ethics professor, so beware that you take responsibility both for your actions when it comes to downloading pornography and any subsequent actions you undertake. Please also do not confuse these video games with guides to ethical behavior or to proper treatment of women. These are pornography. They are fantasy interactions with fictional women (and sometimes men, though less often sex with men because I'm the one making these recommendations and that's not really my thing). You can tell because these women are 2-dimensional, either made of text or digital images, and are not actually real people in the room with you at all.
Be aware this is neither intended to be an exhaustive list of AIF games nor is it to be an unbiased one. It's a list of games that I think are great and/or specifically appeal to me. You may find that some or all of your kinks aren't served by this list, and that's...well, life, honestly. For clarity's sake, expect some nexus of incest, classic heterosexual sex comedy themes (that often means embarrassed sexy women in ridiculous and unrealistic situations), mind control/hypnosis, and a sprinkling of pregnancy/inbreeding wherever possible. Not all games will have all these themes, and there may be other themes too, but that's the kinda stuff you're most likely to find on this list. I may occasionally post something outside my wheelhouse that might appeal to a broader audience, but I make no guarantees about how well such games fit into their relative kinkspaces or how often it happens.
Unsurprisingly, this is specifically intended to be an AIF-focused list. The 'adult' part of that acronym should be pretty obvious, but IF (interactive fiction) tends to be a more slippery beast, so I'll admit right now to kinda fudging its definition to allow more modern games to fit in. Because, let's face it, text-based parsers aren't exactly a popular way to make a game right now. But most of it, at least the earlier stuff, is going to have text-based parsers. Still, I'll broadly categorize interactive fiction as games with a lot of text, a (relatively) clearly defined narrative (i.e., you can tell it's a narrative, not that the narrative is necessarily easy to parse), and a reasonable amount of player interaction. Also, again, there's going to be porn because this is AIF. Obv.
What this tends to mean is that I'll include some Twine and RAGS games, but RPGMaker's out and I'd need a damned good reason to include anything Ren'py.
Note: It is the unshakeable position of this blog that fiction isn't real, that the consequences of fiction are different from the consequences of real world actions involving IRL people, and that all fictional porn games linked to from this blog are intended for entertainment purposes only.
